Waidyatilaka re-elected

PHD Waidyatilaka was re-elected President Sri Lanka Masters Athletics with a majority of 51 votes. The other candidate SNJ Dias received 27 votes while Waidyatilaka had 78 votes.
There were 13 candidates for 7 posts of Vice President and the following were elected. Dickman Guruge (59 votes) D Upali Kumarasiri (51) Ananda Athukorala (47) Sumith Dalpathadu (44) TJ Chandradasa (44) KM Karunaratne (43) AT Wijaya (41)
The other positions were uncontested.
The office bearers for 2010/2011 are as follows.
President: PHD Waidyatilaka. Vice Presidents: Dickman Guruge, D Upali Kumarasiri, Ananda Athukorala, Sumith Dalpathadu, TJ Chandradasa, KM Karunaratne, AT Wijaya. Secretary: K Satchithananda. Treasurer: SP Rupasinghe. Asst Secretaries: Senani Bogahawatte, Mallika Satchithananda. Asst Treasurer: HA Upali. Meet Secretary: W Cyril Perera.
