Cops acting impartially to be reinstated after poll

In a new move, the police department has finalized a new list of 500 officers who have excelled in the service, to be given appointments to maintain law and order properly, after the general election. Most of thyese officers were transferred haphazardly for being impartial during election time.
Police headquarters revealed that about 500 police officers, including senior DIGs, DIGs, SPs and OICs, will be transferred to more lucrative positions after the general election.
Meanwhile, over 200 police officers were transferred after the conclusion of the presidential election. It is reliably understood that most of those who received transfers in this regard were those who had acted in an impartial manner during the presidential election.
Some of the officers who proved their prowess have been transferred to police training colleges and police field headquarters as officers without portfolio.
However, political organizers have been displeased with the arrangement and have forced police headquarters to further victimise these officers. Police sources maintained that these officers will be redirected to suitable places after the general election.
