DNA UNF lovefest lingers

The United National Front (UNF) and Democratic National Alliance (DNA) will go their separate ways but have come to an understanding to ‘attack’ UPFA candidates jointly but not to ‘attack’ each other.
General Secretary of the DNA Vijitha Herath said “There is no written agreement between the two parties but we agree that we need to restore good governance and democracy and eliminate corruption and repression. Both sides will fight hard to ensure that people will have a government that ensures basic human rights and the needs of the people,” Herath said.
“We will start our campaigning from tomorrow and Ms. Fonseka will attend all the meetings she can come for. We hope that we can change the tide and assure a better future for our children.”
