Vasu proposes new bill against racial hatred
Minister of National Languages and Social Integration Wasudewa Nanayakkara says that a proposal has been forwarded to include
a clause ruling it illegal to make statements to incite racial or religious hatred, in the penal code.
The Minister stated that although such a clause is included in the prevention of terrorism act, no such clause is included in the Penal code.
