New hangmen given training
Two newly hired hangmen for the Welikada and Bogambara prisons have begun their first fourteen-day training session at the Welikada Prison, sources told LAKBIMANEWS online.
These sources said the appointment letters were given to these two hangmen, from the Pitipana and Negombo areas, at the Welikada Prisons premises on Saturday (Feb 2).
